Postdoctoral researcher
Stipe’s main research interests lie in logic, knowledge representation and reasoning, philosophy of logic, and formal argumentation. He completed his PhD at the University of Groningen in 2020 with a dissertation titled Reasoning with Defeasible Reasons, following earlier studies in Zagreb. Before joining the LUCI Lab, he was a postdoctoral researcher on the “Empowering Human Intentions through AI” project at Utrecht University. In the ReDa project, Stipe applies structured defeasible argumentation to model evidence pooling.
